Benefits for carbon tax!!!

One has to see this to believe it. In WA the government apparently pays a rebate for electricity bills. OR DO THEY???? they didn't inform my friend of his rights to this rebate -and they certainly refuse to backpay it. So total extra taken by the government now is at least $1,500.  Now as he is well over 70years surely the government should have informed him or automatically given the rebate....hmm

justice and injustice!

The West Australian on Feburary 15 2010 wrote the west austratian State Administrative Tribunal ruled that a man was of good enough character to be handed the keys to people's homes YET that very same man was convicted and jailed in 2007 for unlawfully giving his wife a sedative and indecently assauting her- his wife stumbled across the photos of her attack in an email.....

Though Australia is still a low population country island the laws vary from state to state!! though less than two million people per different legal system! 
KNOW the law before ...
This are examples of punishments for stealing- published in 2008 'An Introduction to Criminal Law in Queensland and Western Australia'
-in Queensland expect life imprisonmant if the thing stolen is a testamentary instrument but 10 years only if you steal a testamentary instrument [or an aircraft] in Westren Australia
- BUT in Western Australia expect 14 years imprisonment if something is stolen from a vehicle BUT only 8 years if you steal the vehicle [and presumably its contents] !!!
